In our production facilities, we aim to use vacuum injection whenever possible.
In this process, liquid polyester is sucked into a closed mold lined with dry fiberglass reinforcement sheets. This method greatly reduces the evaporation of styrene, which normally occurs during manual lamination and also contributes to a healthier workplace environment.
The vacuum injection method produces a more favorable ratio between polyester and glass (reinforcement), resulting in a strong and more lightweight product.
Chemical laminate is used mainly in aggressive industrial environments.
Fire-retardant laminates can be used as an outer protective surface or all throughout the product.
