Jarla-Products

Decades of fiber-reinforced plastic expertise for the process and boating industries
The family-owned Jarla-Products manufactures demanding fiberglass-reinforced plastic products for the needs of the process and boating industries. With more than 55 years of experience and expertise passed from one generation to the next, we provide our customers with high-quality, long-lasting solutions.
In the process industry, we are particularly specialized in electrolysis tanks required for zinc production, as well as other chemical-resistant and flame-retardant products. We have supplied tanks to one of Europe’s leading zinc factories for more than 30 years, and some of the tanks we originally delivered are still in use—demonstrating their exceptional quality and long lifecycle.
We are located in Ostrobothnia, home to several of Finland’s leading boat manufacturers. For decades, we have produced a variety of components for motorboats and sailboats according to customer drawings and requirements.

Commitment and expertise accumulate in a family company
Our company was founded in 1969 when Alvar Ahlholm established Jarla-Plast Ay. From the very beginning, brothers Jan-Erik and Krister Kronkvist were involved in the company’s operations, and a couple of years later, the business was transferred to them. Over the years, production increasingly shifted toward more demanding industrial products, and the company grew into a significant supplier of FRP solutions.
In 2024, a generational transition took place, and leadership was assumed by second-generation fiberglass specialists, cousins Tommy and Ida Kronkvist. Both have worked in the company from a young age, bringing with them extensive experience and strong expertise.
We will continue into the future with the same commitment and professionalism of a family-owned company. The demand for fiberglass-reinforced solutions continues to grow in both the process industry and the boating sector, and the energy transition is also increasing the need for chemical-resistant and electrically insulating products for heavy industry.
